Job Summary:
A leading healthcare institution in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Pediatric ENT Surgeon to join their exceptional team. The successful candidate will specialize in diagnosing, managing, and surgically treating ear, nose, and throat disorders in children. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage a wide spectrum of pediatric ENT conditions, including hearing loss, airway obstruction, chronic tonsillitis, and congenital abnormalities.
- Perform advanced surgical procedures such as airway reconstruction, endoscopic sinus surgery, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and cochlear implantation.
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans ensuring the best functional and aesthetic outcomes for pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including audiologists, speech therapists, and pediatricians, to deliver comprehensive care.
- Educate and guide families on treatment options, postoperative care, and long-term management strategies for ENT conditions.
- Remain updated on the latest advancements in pediatric otolaryngology and incorporate evidence-based practices into clinical care.
- Mentor junior medical staff and actively contribute to educational initiatives and clinical research.
- Ensure adherence to UAE healthcare regulations while maintaining the highest international standards of safety and care.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Board certification in Otolaryngology, with subspecialty training in Pediatric ENT Surgery.
- Mandatory Western education or training (e.g., USA, UK, Canada, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Consultant Pediatric ENT Surgeon in a reputable institution.
- Proven expertise in handling complex pediatric ENT cases, including surgical and nonsurgical management.
- Outstanding communication skills and a family-centered care approach.
- Eligibility for DHA licensing to practice in Dubai.
