Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced consultant pediatric hematology oncology specialist to join a leading healthcare institution in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide expert care for children with hematological and oncological conditions, ensuring the highest standards of treatment and patient support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat pediatric hematological disorders, such as anemia, clotting disorders, and leukemia, as well as oncological conditions.
  • Performed specialized procedures, including bone marrow biopsies and aspirations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide compassionate care and counseling to patients and their families, addressing concerns and offering support.
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, residents, and students in pediatric hematology and oncology.
  • Participate in clinical research and contribute to advancements in pediatric hematology and oncology.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to international standards and protocols for patient safety and care.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification in pediatric hematology oncology.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a reputable hospital setting as a consultant pediatric hematology-oncology specialist.
  • Expertise in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures specific to hematology and oncology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and families.
  • Dedication to continuous professional development and staying updated on advances in hematology and oncology.
  • Must be Western-trained.
