Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced consultant pediatric cardiologist to join a leading healthcare institution in Dubai. The successful candidate will specialize in diagnosing and treating cardiac conditions in infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring the highest standards of care and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and manage congenital and acquired heart conditions in pediatric patients, including arrhythmias, cardiomyopathies, and heart defects.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, electrocardiograms (ECGs), cardiac MRIs, and stress tests.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative evaluations for pediatric patients requiring cardiac surgery.
  • Collaborate with pediatric cardiac surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Conduct interventional procedures such as catheterization, balloon angioplasty, and stenting when necessary.
  • Offer guidance and counseling to families regarding treatment options, risks, and post-treatment care.
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents, and medical students in pediatric cardiology.
  • Participate in clinical research and contribute to advancements in pediatric cardiology.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification in pediatric cardiology.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a consultant pediatric cardiologist in a reputable hospital setting.
  • Expertise in pediatric cardiac imaging and interventional procedures.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills in pediatric cardiology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children, families, and medical staff.
  • Must be Western-trained.
