Job Summary: A leading healthcare institution in the UAE is seeking a highly experienced Consultant Interventional Radiologist with UK training and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT). The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures and a proven track record of excellence in Western-trained healthcare settings. This role requires a dedicated professional who is committed to advancing patient care through state-of-the-art techniques and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a comprehensive range of interventional radiology procedures, including vascular interventions, tumor ablations, image-guided biopsies, and embolization.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic imaging to devise precise, patient-centered treatment strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists, to provide holistic and integrated care.
  • Lead the development of departmental protocols, quality improvement initiatives, and best practices to ensure excellence in patient outcomes.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior medical staff, radiology trainees, and fellows.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in interventional radiology, incorporating cutting-edge practices into clinical care.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations while upholding the highest international standards of patient safety and care delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Clinical Radiology from the UK.
  • Board certification in Interventional Radiology, with expertise in advanced, minimally invasive procedures.
  • Mandatory Western education and/or training (e.g., UK, USA, Canada, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of post-certification experience in interventional radiology within a Western healthcare setting.
  • Outstanding communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.
  • Eligibility for DHA/DOH/MOH licensing to practice in the UAE.
