Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine to join a leading healthcare institution in Jeddah. This role is dedicated to providing expert care for critically ill patients, managing complex cases in a high-acuity setting, and contributing to advancements in intensive care medicine. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care while working within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management of critically ill patients, including those requiring ventilatory support, advanced cardiac monitoring, and complex interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and ECMO management.
  • Oversee the clinical decision-making process for ICU admissions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Engage in medical research and contribute to advancements in intensive care protocols.
  • Provide expert consultations on critical care management, sepsis protocols, and post-ICU recovery strategies.
  • Maintain compliance with Saudi healthcare regulations and international standards in critical care medicine.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Board certification in Intensive Care Medicine or Anesthesia with subspecialty training in Critical Care.
  • Must hold UK CCT, American Board, or Canadian Board certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine.
  • Expertise in managing complex ICU cases and utilizing advanced life-support techniques.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills within a high-pressure environment.
  • Eligibility for medical licensing in Saudi Arabia.
