Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine to join a leading healthcare institution in Jeddah. This role is dedicated to providing expert care for critically ill patients, managing complex cases in a high-acuity setting, and contributing to advancements in intensive care medicine. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care while working within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the management of critically ill patients, including those requiring ventilatory support, advanced cardiac monitoring, and complex interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and ECMO management.
- Oversee the clinical decision-making process for ICU admissions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Engage in medical research and contribute to advancements in intensive care protocols.
- Provide expert consultations on critical care management, sepsis protocols, and post-ICU recovery strategies.
- Maintain compliance with Saudi healthcare regulations and international standards in critical care medicine.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Board certification in Intensive Care Medicine or Anesthesia with subspecialty training in Critical Care.
- Must hold UK CCT, American Board, or Canadian Board certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine.
- Expertise in managing complex ICU cases and utilizing advanced life-support techniques.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills within a high-pressure environment.
- Eligibility for medical licensing in Saudi Arabia.
