Job Summary:

A reputable healthcare facility in Taif is looking for a Consultant Gastroenterologist with extensive experience in managing complex digestive disorders. This role involves diagnosing and treating a range of gastrointestinal conditions, performing advanced endoscopic procedures, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized care for patients with various gastrointestinal diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disorders, and nutritional deficiencies, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, and endoscopic ultrasound, utilizing the latest technology to improve patient outcomes.
  • Develop personalized management strategies tailored to each patient’s condition, integrating evidence-based approaches to enhance treatment effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with hepatologists, oncologists, and nutritionists to ensure a comprehensive approach to gastroenterological care, fostering interdisciplinary coordination for optimal patient well-being.
  • Stay updated with the latest medical research and technological developments, actively participating in clinical advancements to refine treatment protocols.
  • Educate patients on digestive health, disease prevention, and long-term care strategies, empowering them with knowledge for effective self-management.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Saudi healthcare regulations, ensuring compliance with international standards in gastroenterology practice.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution, demonstrating extensive expertise in gastroenterology.
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology, confirming specialized training and professional excellence.
  • Must hold UK CCT, American Board, or Canadian Board certification, reflecting a high level of medical proficiency.
  • At least five years of experience as a Consultant Gastroenterologist, managing complex cases with precision and expertise.
  • Advanced skills in performing minimally invasive procedures and treating gastrointestinal diseases using innovative approaches.
  • Strong communication abilities and a patient-centered focus, ensuring a compassionate and informed approach to care.
  • Eligibility for medical licensing in Saudi Arabia, meeting all professional and regulatory requirements.
