Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced consultant in adult critical care to join a reputable hospital in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide expert care to critically ill patients, ensuring the highest standards of treatment and patient safety in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and manage complex and life-threatening conditions in critically ill adult patients.
  • Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced life support.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior medical staff, residents, and nurses.
  • Participate in clinical research and contribute to advancements in critical care medicine.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to international standards and protocols for patient safety and care.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification in critical care medicine.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a consultant in adult critical care in a reputable hospital setting.
  • Expertise in advanced critical care procedures and technologies.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical teams.
  • Must be Western-trained.
