Job Summary:

A prestigious healthcare institution in Riyadh is looking for an experienced and dedicated Consultant Cardiologist to join their expert medical team. This role requires advanced expertise in managing cardiovascular diseases using the latest diagnostic and therapeutic technologies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions, including ischemic heart disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, and valvular heart disease.
  • Perform specialized diagnostic and interventional procedures, such as cardiac catheterization, echocardiography, and stress testing.
  • Develop comprehensive and individualized care plans, including medical therapies, procedural interventions, and preventive strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health, disease prevention, and long-term management.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and ensure compliance with international standards and local regulations.
  • Stay updated on advancements in cardiology and adopt evidence-based practices in clinical care.
  • Mentor junior staff and actively participate in research and educational initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Cardiology (American Board Certification, MRCP, or equivalent).
  • Completion of Western education and/or training in recognized healthcare systems (e.g., USA, UK, Canada, or equivalent) is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of post-board certification experience as a Consultant Cardiologist.
  • Proficiency in managing complex cardiovascular cases, including interventional procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Eligibility for licensing with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
