Job Summary:

An esteemed medical institution in Jeddah is seeking a highly qualified Consultant in Pediatric Emergency Medicine to provide expert care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This position is focused on delivering advanced emergency treatment for critically ill and injured pediatric patients while ensuring the highest standards of medical excellence. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership, precision, and a commitment to evidence-based pediatric emergency care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the assessment and treatment of pediatric emergencies, including trauma, respiratory distress, neurological crises, and severe infections.
  • Perform advanced emergency procedures, including airway management, resuscitation, and critical interventions.
  • Develop and oversee acute care protocols, ensuring efficient and high-quality patient management.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including pediatric intensivists, anesthesiologists, and emergency physicians, to optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Implement the latest advancements in pediatric emergency medicine and contribute to ongoing research efforts.
  • Provide guidance and education to families on emergency preparedness and post-care management.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi healthcare regulations and uphold global standards in pediatric emergency medicine.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or Pediatric Critical Care.
  • Must hold UK CCT, American Board, or Canadian Board certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant in pediatric emergency medicine.
  • Expertise in managing complex pediatric emergencies and critical conditions.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to perform under high-pressure situations.
  • Eligibility for medical licensing in Saudi Arabia.
