Job Summary:

An esteemed medical institution in Jeddah is seeking a highly qualified Consultant in Pediatric Emergency Medicine to provide expert care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This position is focused on delivering advanced emergency treatment for critically ill and injured pediatric patients while ensuring the highest standards of medical excellence. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the assessment and treatment of pediatric emergencies, including trauma, respiratory distress, neurological crises, and severe infections.
• Perform advanced emergency procedures, including airway management, resuscitation, and critical interventions.
• Develop and oversee acute care protocols, ensuring efficient and high-quality patient management.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including pediatric intensivists, anesthesiologists, and emergency physicians, to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Implement the latest advancements in pediatric emergency medicine and contribute to ongoing research efforts.
• Provide guidance and education to families on emergency preparedness and post-care management.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi healthcare regulations and uphold global standards in pediatric emergency medicine.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or Pediatric Critical Care.
• Must hold UK CCT, American Board, or Canadian Board certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant in pediatric emergency medicine.
• Expertise in managing complex pediatric emergencies and critical conditions.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to perform under high-pressure situations.
• Eligibility for medical licensing in Saudi Arabia.
