Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Neurosurgeon specializing in cranial and brain surgeries to join the Neurosurgery department of a prestigious hospital in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional surgical expertise, a commitment to patient care, and a passion for advancing neurosurgical practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex cranial and brain surgeries, including tumor resections, aneurysm repairs, and trauma interventions.
  • Diagnose and treat neurological disorders affecting the brain and cranial region.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Utilize minimally invasive techniques and advanced technologies for surgical procedures.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in clinical research and contribute to advancements in neurosurgical practices.
  • Mentor and train junior medical staff and residents.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Board certification in Neurosurgery.
  • Fellowship training in cranial and brain surgery is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in neurosurgery, with a focus on cranial procedures.
  • Proficiency in minimally invasive surgical techniques and endoscopic procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and patient-centered care.
  • Western-trained education or experience is required.
  • Expertise in awake brain tumor surgery and skull base surgery.
  • Familiarity with advanced imaging technologies and surgical navigation systems.
  • Experience in pediatric neurosurgery is a plus.
