Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist to join the Pediatric Rheumatology department of a renowned healthcare institution in Dubai. This role is focused on diagnosing and managing complex rheumatic and autoimmune conditions in children, providing compassionate, comprehensive care and fostering strong support for young patients and their families.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose pediatric rheumatic conditions, including juvenile idiopathic arthritis, lupus, and vasculitis.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as imaging studies, blood work, and biopsies.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans to address individual patient needs and optimize outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for complex cases.
  • Offer guidance and support to families, ensuring they understand treatment protocols and long-term management strategies.
  • Participate in clinical research and contribute to advancements in pediatric rheumatology.
  • Maintain meticulous medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Pediatric Rheumatology.
  • Board certification in Pediatric Rheumatology is highly desirable.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Dubai, UAE.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist.
  • Expertise in diagnosing and managing complex rheumatic and autoimmune conditions in children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and families.
  • Western-trained education or experience required.
