Job Description:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant in Sports Medicine to join one of the esteemed medical institutions in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing, treating, and preventing sports-related injuries and conditions, catering to both amateur and professional athletes, as well as active individuals. This role demands a detail-oriented and collaborative professional committed to optimizing physical health and performance through innovative and evidence-based medical care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage sports-related injuries and conditions, including musculoskeletal disorders, overuse injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
• Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including ultrasound-guided injections, rehabilitation planning, and minimally invasive techniques.
• Develop personalized treatment plans to maximize recovery and optimize physical performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, and nutritionists, to ensure integrated patient care.
• Educate patients and athletes on injury prevention strategies, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications for long-term health.
• Stay updated on advancements in sports medicine and implement evidence-based practices.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi healthcare regulations and uphold international standards of patient care.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Board certification in Sports Medicine (American Board Certification is preferred).
• Must be Western-trained, with experience in leading healthcare environments.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a consultant in sports medicine.
• Expertise in managing complex sports-related injuries, including both surgical and non-surgical approaches.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Eligibility for Saudi licensing to practice medicine.
