Position Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Pediatric Hematology Oncology Specialist to join the Pediatric Hematology Oncology department of a premier healthcare facility in Dubai. This position is focused on diagnosing and treating pediatric patients with blood disorders and cancers, delivering exceptional medical care, and fostering compassion and support for both young patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric hematologic conditions, such as anemia, clotting disorders, and other blood-related diseases.
• Treat pediatric patients with various types of cancers, including leukemia, lymphoma, and solid tumors.
• Perform specialized procedures, including bone marrow biopsies and aspirations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and supportive therapies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including pediatric surgeons, radiologists, and pathologists, to deliver integrated care.
• Provide counseling and education to families, ensuring they understand treatment protocols and follow-up care.
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to advancements in pediatric hematology and oncology.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Pediatric Hematology Oncology.
• Board certification in Pediatric Hematology Oncology is highly desirable.
• Valid medical license to practice in Dubai, UAE.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in pediatric hematology and oncology.
• Expertise in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures specific to hematology and oncology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and families.
• Western-trained education or experience required.
